TSMU Rector Interacts with Indian Students in an Exclusive Webinar with Rus Education

On July 13, a large-scale international webinar with the Rector of TSMU, Professor Alexander Grigorievich Sonis, was held at Tver State Medical University. The event was organised by Rus Education and International Education Center LLC with the aim of promoting Russian medical education and introducing TSMU to Indian students and parents. The target audience of the webinar was parents and applicants interested in pursuing medical education in Russia. The broadcast reached all states of India, allowing thousands of prospective students and their families to learn about the opportunities to study at TSMU. Along with the Rector, the webinar was attended by distinguished dignitaries and education experts. During the session, the experts discussed in detail the key concerns of future students and their parents. Professor Alexander Grigorievich Sonis presented the key advantages of the university to prospective applicants. He spoke about the history and achievements of TSMU, its modern educational programs, the system of clinical training, and partnerships with leading medical institutions. The Rector also highlighted the continuous development of the university's infrastructure, the expansion of clinical training facilities, and new opportunities for students to gain practical experience. An important part of the meeting was the discussion on the adaptation of Indian students in Russia. The Rector emphasised that TSMU provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for international students. The university organises celebrations of Indian national and religious festivals, conducts cultural events, offers familiar food options, and provides comprehensive support from the very first days of students' stay in Russia. During the webinar, Professor Alexander Grigorievich Sonis answered numerous questions regarding the admission process, accommodation, safety, clinical practice, student life, and career prospects after graduation. At the end of the session, the Rector invited Indian applicants to become a part of the TSMU community and pursue their medical education at the university.
